Free Medical Health Camps in Deep Rural India (Treatment & Medicines Provided)
Medical Health Camps in Rural Villages of India – FREE TREATMENT
Organized in Remote Areas, Urban Slums, & Epidemic / Emergencies That Have No Access to Any Healthcare Facilities
Avg. 250 Patients Treated per Health Camp!
Rural individuals in small villages of India have no proper health checkups and regular diagnosis. One major reason for this is the cost of healthcare. In a country where the nominal per capita income is only $1,500 a year, out-of-pocket (OoP) spending is at 60% total health expenditure, which is one of the highest in the world (National Health Policy 2015). Add to this the fact that about 47% and 31% of hospital admissions in rural and urban India, respectively, are financed by loans and sale of assets.
A major part of the Indian rural population is unable to afford or access proper medical care. Leaving the medicines aside, just the cost of a single checkup is too much to bear for the poor and they are forced to find alternate solutions to take care of themselves. Additionally, those within deep rural pockets have no proper access to healthcare as the nearest medical facility would be in cities or small towns. The poor have little to spare in terms of money and resources, therefore, they cannot seek medical assistance.
A healthy life is a happy life. Tayyab Trust organizes medical health camps in rural areas of India where free treatment is provided to the local community members, proper checkups are done by qualified and professional medical practitioners, and appropriate medicine is given. These health camps are organized in remote areas, urban slums, and epidemic/emergencies that have no access to any healthcare facilities. On average, 250 patients are treated per health camp. Furthermore, our mobile clinic, which is an ambulance converted into a one-stop medical aid vehicle, helps us reach the deepest remote areas to locate people who are in need of medical help the most.
